Good things come in small packages

Last year I stumbled across these tiny homes. Back when I thought I was gonna buy a home, ha! Anywho, one of the many reasons I decided against buying a home was size. I found reasonable priced homes but I am just one person and they all seemed so big. My paranoia got me thinking I could be sleep in one part of the house and someone could totally break in somewhere else in the house. Hey as a single woman you can’t ignore these things, besides I said paranoia.

So these tiny homes, the ones I like anyway are made by Tumbleweed Houses. So cute! Just looking at them and seeing the videos of people who own them makes me want to go home and throw out a bunch of stuff. I have a very small apartment. In the last 5 years I’ve gone from a house to an apartment to a house to two-bedroom apartment to a one-bedroom apartment to a loftish apartment. Loftish because there are no walls (except for the bathroom).

But I digress, back to the tiny houses. Did I mention they are so cute! Yes to live in one I would once again have to get rid of more stuff. But most of that stuff in tubs in the back of the closet I don’t use/need anyway. I could truly stand to downsize more.

There are other issues I realize like where would I put it. Cities are very fond of them so there are all kinds of codes. Oh and hey they are not exactly free. But still the one I really like B-53 (or the Harbinger) is still cheap than that crazy floor plan house I visited on Hickman last year. Still for sale by the way.

Well a girl can dream……… tiny.

Want to see a tiny house tour........
