Back to the Grind

Can’t believe I have to go back to work already. That was the fastest summer ever. But it was full of fun new experiences and meeting some cool people. The catalyst to most of my summer fun actually slipped back in to my world last winter. We spent my last weekend together just having some fun on the road. Went to a nice retirement party in Maysville. I got all tipsy and totally obsessed on the fact that we were camping next to a cemetery in a town that used to be named Amity(ville). In the end it was a great night and no one was killed horror movie style.

Spent Sunday Funday just slow creeping back to central Iowa. Spent the afternoon at the Coralville Lake. Can’t believe I’ve never been there. I actually slipped into my skirted bikini and hopped in the water! Grilled some great meat, made smores and enjoyed a nice afternoon of chatting and hanging. But that has always been a part of the attraction how comfortable it is to be around him. So far this has been a great ‘non relationship’ Now let’s see if I can balance all this fun time and work.
