Another first for me! I was in the Iowa State Fair Parade last night! And yes it was hotter than freakin blazes. Personally I think Pedalmania was a big hit. No surprise the Quad made it, with many a detour around submerged Ames. I would totally post a picture but my piece of crap camera did not want to work.

On another note, I have to get used to the fact that I can’t party like a rock star on a school night (well at least not when I have a early morning meeting)! Nevertheless I am so skipping the Fair this year. The parade was more than enough. Been there done that. Besides it’s to dang hot.
