Talk Derby To Me

That's so cliché, but I just had to use it! Going to the KY Derby baby. Totally excited should be one heck of a weekend. Taking off tonight! Hat(s), check; silly but cute dress, check; Makers Mark, check; new camera to document the debouchery CHECK! To top it all off I get to end the weekend with a Pearl Jam concert, woo-freakin-hoo!

This lady told me 'wow, you do a lot of fun things'. That got me thinking yes, yes I do. Well, life ain't gonna live it's self! I want a life full of experiences.

Let's see a few fun things I've done:

Been to Europe, Canada, Mexico, San Juan, the Carribbean and all but 6 states

Taken seven cruises

I was in the Army and spent 10 good years in college, yes 10 why rush out to work for 30+ years oh joy. I got two degrees and a husband out of it, still have those degrees!

Have been engaged 3 times and married/divorced once, you ain't lived til you've been divorced

This is my tenth year doing Ragbrai

I was an extra in a movie and met Peter Fonda

Fished on both coasts crabbing in VA and caught a 21 inch salmon on the Chehalis River, WA

Shot a deer and buffalo, even went turkey hunting

Tasted wine in Carmel, Calif and ate tacos in Tijuana

Done most every job, waited tables, delivered papers, med, education, factor, retail

Climbed the Rockies and skiied Black Diamonds

Skydived…not tandem

Gone to 7 Pearl Jam concerts in 6 states and 2 countries, plus seen everyone Tom Petty to Snoop Dogg


So many adventures. So many more to come......
