The hunt for flattering gym wear is never-ending, I repeat never-ending. I always see people in pictures on Active.com they look so comfortable in their workout gear. It’s as if they are truly enjoying their workout, even in the cold or rain. I have not yet been able to get myself to that point.
I believed, foolishly that when there was talk of a Jackie Warner line of workout gear it would be suitable for the likes of me. Nope. See Jackie says that she too once had a problem with weight (what?). Yeah, well it seems people who used to have weight issues quickly forget what the ‘journey’ was like. Even Jennifer Hudson with her new Weight Watchers commercials, I Can, I Can, I Can. I just want to know how much of that I Can was Weight Watchers and how much was the personal trainer.
Yes, I always get wound up like this when the new season of Biggest Loser starts. That show gets more annoying every season. The crying, OMG the crying. Then there is the super sad story of every over weight contestant, everybody’s got one (an excuse) it’s worse than the Olympics. Then like every contestant is not just over weight, but extremely over weight. Jillian and Bob act like they care about the health of America, but the real reality is that they have a whole season to fill and supplements/meal plans to sell. So those of you with only 30 to 50 pounds to lose screw you.
Is it just me or does it seem a lot like our economy. If you are bankrupt or in foreclosure, we’ll bail you out. If, however, juggling a couple of credits card barely making ends meet, you’re on your own!

AMEN!!!! Biggest Loser premiere was making me so mad!!!
And, yeah. If I had 12 hours a day to workout and was in a lock down with no other responsibilites, you bet I'd lose 100 pounds. Easy.
They need to show more of the real life. and the people who do need to just drop 30 or 50, and that daily LIFE struggle.
You hit it right on the head, with the comparison to financial bailouts.
America... land of the extreme.
